🔒 Resizing happens locally in your browser.

Resize by pixels without guessing

Sometimes you do not need a new format or stronger compression; you simply need the image to be the right width and height. That is useful for website thumbnails, social graphics, forms, profile pictures and any system with a specific pixel requirement.

Resize an image

  1. Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image.
  2. Enter the width or height you need.
  3. Leave Keep aspect ratio enabled if you want the other dimension to update automatically.
  4. Choose an output format if needed, resize, and download.

Why keeping the aspect ratio matters

An image has a natural width-to-height relationship. If you change only one dimension while keeping that relationship locked, faces, circles and objects keep their normal shape. Turn the lock off only when you deliberately want a different proportion.

Making an image bigger

You can increase the pixel dimensions, but resizing upward does not create new photographic detail. A small source stretched to a much larger size may look soft or pixelated. Whenever possible, start with the highest-quality source you have.

Output format

You can keep the source format or download as PNG, JPG or WebP. JPG uses a white background if transparency is present. PNG and WebP are better choices when transparent areas need to remain transparent.

Local processing

The resize operation is performed in your browser and the image is not uploaded to EivoTech.

Questions people ask

Does resizing reduce file size?

Reducing pixel dimensions often reduces file size, but the exact result also depends on format and compression.

What is the maximum size?

The tool limits the final canvas to 30 megapixels and individual dimensions to 12,000 pixels to avoid excessive browser memory use.

Can I resize without changing format?

Yes. Keep the output option set to the original format.
